Slack Wax
Slack wax is created as a by-product of the oil refining process. This material is the crude wax produced by chilling and solvent filter-pressing wax distillate. It serves as feedstock and that is further refined and blended to create value-added wax products. There are three types of slack wax, depending on the viscosity of the lubricating oil being dewaxed: low-neutral, medium-neutral, and heavy-neutral. Slack waxe offer a wide variety of physical and
performance characteristics includings:
- A wide range of melting points
- Blended and single distillate products
- High flash points
- High n-paraffin contents
Applications
Slack waxes are used in the production of a wide range of products, including wax emulsions, construction board, matches, glass wool and textile treating, synthetic firelogs, matches, inks, weed bars, carbon paper, composite wood panels, chemicals and fertilizers, paraffin wax and candles, arena footing, soil or turf protection, polishes, and fireplace products.
Packing of slack wax
Slack wax is packed in 180 kg drums , ISO tank , flexi tanks.
