This company passes pure petroleum bitumen through a vacuum floor with hot air to make bitumen 160-220. Penetration grade bitumen 160/220 has penetration between 160~220 desi-millimeter and softening point between 35~ 43C. Bitumen 160/220, like synthetic resin, has thermoplastic properties which gets softer with heating and hardens when cooled. This grade of bitumen 160/220 has very strong viscosity compare to other grades.
