General Description:

Hard penetration of bitumen 100/150 has led to use it in paving. Due to its hard penetration, 100-150 bitumen is used for road construction and repair also for the production of asphalt pavements. Though it is usually uses in in the manufacture of hot mix asphalt for bases and wearing courses.

Softening point and penetration of bitumen 100/150

By manufacturing pure petroleum grade from vacuum bottom through hot air we can have bitumen 100/150.

Also SAM FUID supplies this grade of bitumen of remained crude oil after cracking and removing hydrocarbon.

Penetration grade bitumen 100/150 has penetration between 160~220 desi-millimeter and softening point between 39~ 47C.

Bitumen 100/150, like synthetic resin, has thermoplastic properties which gets softer with heating and hardens when cooled. Much stronger viscosity distinguished this type of bitumen from the rest.
